This weekend Geneva was in the international foreground for the watch auction world.

At Antiquorum, the expectations were high, and the outcome did not disappoint!

Auction Totalled CHF 15'722'499.-

These outstanding results exceeded far above the estimates:

  • LOT 563 sold for CHF 575,000.00.-, almost 4 times its low estimate. This example of the Ref. 1518 first series from Patek Philippe in perfect condition likely also charmed the buyer due to it being fresh to the market.

  • LOT 84, a very rare Audemars Piguet extra-thin minute repeater from the 1920’s accomplished a performance sale over 8 times its low estimate at CHF 525’000.-
  • The rare and historical trio of the iconic Patek Philippe Chronograph Perpetual Calendar calibers  1518, 2499 and 3971 (LOT 144, 146, and 147) made it to the top 10 results respectively sold CHF 625’000.-CHF 437’500.- (over 6 times its low estimate) and CHF 625’000.- .
  • LOT 56 Cartier 8-days power reserve caliber Tank wristwatch, reached over 4 times its low estimate, sold for CHF 250’000.-
